Q. What is the best thread to use for
industrial applications?
A. In general, we recommend using Tenara or other PTFE sewing thread. It has the best resistance to UV degradation and has excellent color retention. A lower cost alternative would be a solution dyed polyester thread
Q. How do you clean Sunbrella fabric?
A. Brush of loose dirt, rinse and clean with a solution of Dawn dishwashing liquid 1/4 cup to a gallon along with a cup of bleach per gallon. Clean using a sponge or soft brush, rinse and let air dry.
Q. What is the best machine way of
applying logos to Industrial Fabric?
A. Graphics can be applied using latex house paint, screen printing and in some cases direct digital printing. For Sunbrella Fabrics we recommend the use of the Sunbrella Graphics System for applying vinyl cut or digitally printed film to the Sunbrella fabric.
